In this painting by Geoff Taylor there is a futuristic cathedral like building with coloured glass windows, it is built on a rock in what seems to be a wasteland. In the foreground the snow lies on the ground and a young girl is seated on a horse which is led by a young man. Above them in the sky is an apparition with red eyes and horns, a black demon.

The Demon Apostle.The demon dactyle has been defeated, but not destroyed. As Elbyran and Pony pick up the pieces of their lives and those of the people of Corona, the dactly seeks refuge at the heart of the Abilican church, throwing Corona into a new crisis and forcing Pony to face a nightmare betrayal.
