Description

In this painting by Geoff Taylor the sky is deep rust colour with the sun breaking through the clouds with shafts of light. A rider on a white horse and a young woman, with long braided hair in a yellow dress and a red cloak, stands with her back to him. A series of standing stones line the cliff path that they have walked along. In the background lies water, the sea, and a Viking boat, beyond is a land mass.
